What Ryn keeps
Ryn is in a small private test. Here’s plainly what it keeps, and why.
Your account
Your email and password. Sign-in is handled by Supabase, so Ryn never sees your password.
Your measurements
What you type in: measurements, usual sizes, and fit facts like pieces that fit you well. Only you can see them. Ryn uses them to answer your checks and for nothing else.
Your pieces
For each piece you check: the link, its name, brand and the store’s photo link, and Ryn’s answer, so you can find it again in your account. Your hearts and the alternatives you save are kept the same way.
Your loved list
Private unless you share it. If you make a share link, anyone with it can see your loved pieces, and your sizes only if you choose. Never your measurements. Turn it off any time and the link stops working.
The Share button
When you use Check with Ryn from Safari, it sends Ryn the page you’re looking at, as you see it, plus the store’s size chart if it has one. Ryn reads it for your check and deletes it within an hour.
Screenshots
Read for that check and never kept. If a screenshot shows a store’s size chart, Ryn keeps only the chart’s numbers, so the next person shopping that brand doesn’t need one. Never your picture, and never who sent it.
If you don’t sign in
Ryn sets one cookie with a random number, only to know you’ve used your free check.
Who else sees it
No one. Ryn doesn’t sell or share your information. To answer, Ryn sends the product details and your measurements to its AI provider (Anthropic), which doesn’t train its models on them. Your data is stored with Supabase and the site runs on Vercel.
Deleting it
Tell Katy, who invited you, and your account and everything in it will be deleted.
You must be 18 or older to use Ryn.
